Yolande

Yolande

Hi! I am the girl for whom you kindly knitted that beautiful white angora shawl and then I called you and said it got a red wine stain on it and what should I do!? Well I thought I would let you know that I took it to the dry cleaner and they said they couldn\\’t guarantee removing the stain, nor could they guarantee what would happen to the angora wool after dry cleaning it. So I canceled the dry cleaning and brought it home. Did some more research on the internet and followed one thread of advice which involved 1 part glycerine, 1 part dishwashing liquid, 8 parts cold water. I gently dabbed the stains with a wet cloth soaked in this mixture and the stains started to lift instantly! A distinct \\’shadow\\’ of the main stain remained so I then hand washed this with Woolite and rinsed in cold water. I am thrilled to say that it is now clean once again! I am so very pleased!

I thought I might share this new discovery with you.

Best,

Giovanna

The following information was sent to me recently, to be shared with all interested parties. Thank you Giovana, for taking the time to send this on – we have all battled with a treasured piece of angora clothing that has… (Read more)

[1

post-63","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-all-about-angora-rabbits
["GET
